Some specifics about the day!
|
Here are just a FEW
of the
things you can expect this year!
- Golfers can arrive at
the course for registration, practice, etc. at 12:00 noon. Players must
arrive no later than 1:00pm as we tee off at 1:30pm.
- At the registration table, you'll be declaring your team as a mens, seniors (at least 2 players are at or over the age of 62), or mixed division team (at least 1 woman on the team).
- The driving range opens at 12:00 noon and practice
balls are provided as part of your tournament fee.
- Free snacks and soda will be provided throughout the
course.
- Team pictures will be taken again this year so make
sure to have your team together when you arrive.
- 1:30pm shot gun start (teams
will be assigned their holes and team number when they arrive at the
course (just as we did last year). There will be two teams per hole
(A and B).
- Scramble style of play (must utilize at least one
drive from each player at some point over the 18 holes).
- Contests!!! (such as...closest to the pin men and woman's;
longest drive men and woman's; putting contest; and
more!
- Dinner and awards banquet immediately following play!
- Prizes!!! Whether you're a scratch golfer or a duffer,
EVERYONE has
a chance to win prizes (including our dinner only guests!). Each player
as well as our dinner only guests will be given raffle tickets again
to place on the item(s) they wish to try and win. For those of you that
played/attended last year and thought the prizes were good...just wait
until you see what's in store for this year!!!
